25 Easy Changes To A New You - Tip 2

Posted on January 25, 2008 in General, Mom, Exercise by Emilie

It’s been 2 weeks already! How are you doing with increasing your water intake with Tip 1?

Today we are going to add a little bit of exercise to your day. It’s super easy, and can become a daily habit in no time!

Change #2: Every time you use the restroom do 5-10 squats.

Squats

Benefit: Great butt and legs! A great addition to your current workout routine, or a great start to working out!

As with Tip 1 this is good for both pregnant and non-pregnant women (and men!).

Keep drinking water and start doing some squats!

Great tip!! I must remember this! Something else I try to do is this, when putting away the groceries I’ll do a few curls with the milk or orange juice jugs, and also the canned goods as I walk them to their proper spots. Sounds silly, but every little bit of movement helps!

Ooh, that’s a good one too! I used to have a list of ‘grocery exercises’. Now I’ll have to dig that up! :)

What an excellent tip. Gosh, if I’m in the bathroom 5 times in a day, that’s 50 more squats than I’m doing now. Super tip.
